Brian Coash took his coach’s advice during Saturday night’s super heavyweight title fight at Chicago Golden Gloves.

“If you knock him out twice, you’ll win,” Gold Star Gym coach and retired Kankakee police chief John Gerard told his former patrolman. “That’s what you have to do when you are from Kankakee and fighting in Chicago.”
